Who is responsible
LATITUDE60 LTD is the controller for the information PlumbAgent collects before an enquiry is passed on. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 14841042, with registered office at 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX. Privacy questions can be sent to admin@plumbagent.co.uk.
Information we collect
For a quote request, this can include the job postcode, property and plumbing details, timing, budget, name, email address, telephone number, your consent choice and a submission reference. We also process limited technical data needed to secure the form, such as time of submission, a shortened or protected network identifier, browser information and fraud signals.
If you contact us, we receive the information in your message and the contact details you use. Please do not include special-category information unless it is genuinely necessary.
Why we use it
- To provide the quote-introduction service you request.
- To pass an enquiry to our named partner when you actively agree at the final step.
- To prevent spam, duplicate submissions, fraud and misuse.
- To reconcile a submission, handle a complaint and keep necessary compliance records.
- To answer messages and exercise or defend legal rights.
Depending on the activity, our lawful basis is your consent, taking steps at your request to provide the service, our legitimate interests in operating a secure and accountable service, or a legal obligation. We do not use quote details for unrelated email or text marketing.
Who receives quote information
When you submit the final form, the displayed job and contact information is sent to MyJobQuote, our quote-introduction partner. MyJobQuote then processes the information under its own privacy notice and may share it with suitable tradespeople so they can contact you about the job.
We may also use hosting, security and professional service providers acting under appropriate instructions. We do not sell a general marketing list or allow unrelated companies to market to you through PlumbAgent.
How long we keep information
PlumbAgent is designed to avoid retaining a second full copy of the job and contact details after successful delivery. We keep a limited delivery and consent record, provider reference and protected duplicate fingerprints for accountability and reconciliation.
- Security rate-limit identifiers: normally up to 24 hours.
- Protected exact-job fingerprints: normally 30 days.
- A protected contact-introduction fingerprint and the limited delivery and consent record: normally up to six years for duplicate control, accountability and contract records; these records do not contain the original email, telephone number or job description.
- Routine server security logs: normally 30 days.
- Ordinary contact messages: normally up to 12 months after the matter closes, unless a dispute or legal requirement makes longer retention necessary.
MyJobQuote and individual tradespeople set their own retention periods for the copies they control. See their privacy information before submitting.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or to object to processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent for future processing. Withdrawal cannot undo a disclosure that has already occurred.
Contact us first so we can help. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. If the request concerns information held by MyJobQuote or a tradesperson, contact that organisation directly as well.
Security and international processing
We use encryption in transit, access controls, data minimisation and protected identifiers. No internet service can promise absolute security. If a supplier processes information outside the UK, the responsible controller must use an appropriate legal safeguard.
Changes to this notice
We will update this page when the service or its data use changes. Material changes affecting a quote request will be shown before new information is submitted.
